If you enjoy the concerts you might like to consider contributing towards the cost of a forthcoming one, perhaps to celebrate a personal occasion. On average the cost of the artists is £1,000 per concert and WWAA would welcome any contribution you would like to make, either anonymously or with acknowledgement in the programme. You could of course specify which concert you would like your donation to go towards. Please contact the Treasurer Jackie Warner, St Christopher, Cranmore Avenue, Yarmouth IoW, PO41 0XS Phone 761430 Email jaxwarner [at] btinternet dot com. Cheques should be made payable to West Wight Arts Association.
Thank you.
West Wight Arts is very grateful to the Young Concert Artists' Trust who act as agents for many of our artists. Set up in 1984, YCAT promotes outstanding young classical soloists and chamber ensembles trained in the United Kingdom. WWAA trustees attend the YCAT final auditions in the Wigmore Hall each May and engage artists for the following seasons.
The WWAA acknowledges gratefully the professional care and concern given to the piano by Andrew Day (phone 01983 527274, website www.iwpianotuner.co.uk/), who tunes it for us and Jeffrey Shackell of www.shackellpianos.co.uk who maintains it for us.
The WWAA is very grateful to David Broughton who created our original website and maintained it for many years, to Mary Ransom of ByteHaven Ltd, who built the current site and to Colin Tait who created the new design.
